Yes. Formite’s Electrical Grade Compact Laminate, also known as Melamite, is the product commonly referred to as Bakelite in the Pakistani market.

P1 and P2 are the two electrical grades of Formite Bakelite sheet, each manufactured to meet different insulation strength requirements.

Bakelite sheets are used in electrical switchgear, insulation barriers, transformers, electric motors, switches, sockets, circuit breakers and junction boxes.

Yes. Formite Bakelite is manufactured to BS EN 60893-3-4:2004 with insulation strength ranging from 15 to 40 kVA, making it suitable for demanding electrical insulation applications.
